Attention, Attention!
„If you are bored of the holiday, learn to sail with Gyula!” – has been sounded our slogan since Summer of 2000 on every opening day from the speaker of the Alsóörs beach. In 2006 we obatined a new place in the eastern side of the jetty of Alsóörs because of any other problems, we took here our new place of our work of mercy.The sailing boat is not a water bicycle. Before the opening of the rental I had clearly knew if I won’t show how to control a sailing boat in free of charge to the adventurous guests I must not start this buisness. People don’t go sailing to the beach. Everybody can drive our little boats (except the B 25 and Anderson 22) due to an instruction lesson with keeping the significant rules of the water traffic of course. (Under 16 with escort) Like you can learn surfing alone you can learn sailing alone too but with my well functioning and focused learning method everybody can acquire the basics in short time.
From the first moments of sitting to the boat the future yachtsman/woman use the wheel and the riggings and I will just get out from the boat if I make sure that you respect the boat, the water and can go back to the jetty alone in any kind of winds. After that sailing alone and the paid hour is getting started and from now you can use the learned exercise things pensively and you will have really succesful experinces furthermore you could show this to your relations. During that we are watching you from the coast or from another boat.
Maybe 10 years isn’t a large time but is enough to become lifelong friendships between each others. A parts of more than 600 beginners improved their knowledge on the Lake Balaton, on the Adriatic Sea or on the Caribbian Sea. Some of these people bought boat but the majority of these people return to their old favourites, to Scud, to Clipper or the seafarer Amulett and they say: supporting let will be my problem but they will pay for the painting coasts.
We had begginer guest from every parts of Hungary and the World but I always remember of the slovak old man taking his grandchild in his first alone ride than tried to explain touchingly that his biggest dream of life come true. As for him like for me sailing is my child dream too and we would like to give this feeling for you with my brother Sándor with my helpers Gábor, Eszter, András and Pali to people who are not allowed to try out the assumed luxury of sailing because of geographical or financial problems.
There where the Lake Balaton is the widest, where the wind blows the best.
